Where: Congregation Bnai Shalom parking lot at 701 Aptakisic Road in Buffalo Grove

Why: We’re working to eradicate leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers

All donations will go to the JSM Chai Chapter of The Leukemia Research Foundation

Bring your cars, trucks, vans, bikes and other vehicles!  See you there!

Once again the staff and students at Devonshire School in Skokie, IL put on a fantastic Halloween kids carnival benefitting The Jessica Shayne Magid Chai Chapter of The Leukemia Research Foundation. Students created their own carnival games and then spent time running the carnival.  A great time was had by all!  Donations from this annual event totaled more than $1000!  Way to go Devonshire School!

Jewelry Night Out is hosting a fundraising event for The Jessica Shayne Magid “Chai” Chapter of the LRF on August 16, from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at 3655 Woodhead Drive, Northbrook, Il.

Jewelry Night Out features a warehouse full of jewelry, scarves, bags, and accessories, all sold at wholesale prices.  The entire $5 entry fee  goes to the Jessica Shayne Magid “Chai” Chapter of the LRF, along with a portion of sales from the event.  Come out, see us there, spoil yourself with some fun new jewelry and stock up on great gifts for friends, family, teachers, holidays too!

A group of students at the University of Iowa, headed up by Evan Kander of Buffalo Grove, developed a unique fundraiser to support the Leukemia Research Foundation.  Evan states, “When college kids know they’re “saving lives”  at an event like Night 4 Life, they will be more eager to participate in the evening’s festivities.”

This all student-run event will take place at The Summit Bar and Grill in Iowa City on Thursday, December 1st.   Donations of $10 at the door will get you an all you can eat buffet of finger foods, wings, fruit and more!  The Summit bartenders and waitstaff are graciously donating ALL of their tips to The Leukemia Research Foundation and 100% of proceeds of this event will go to The LRF!  Raffle and auction with prizes too…if you are near Iowa City or know anyone who is, don’t miss out!
