The Neighborhood Car Wash Concept:
As part of our fund raising efforts over these past years, we have held neighborhood car washes which were run in 4 different residential driveways. These car washes were conducted by high school and college age young adults (with the help of their parents as well) and raised $300 to $1,000 per location. Based on that success we have decided to take this concept nationwide and we will be holding car washes during the spring, summer and fall months.
Details of Hosting Your Own Car Wash:
1. Choose a day to host a 3-4 hour car wash with weekends obviously being preferred.
2. We will provide the flyers to use; you only need to provide the car wash supplies.
3. This will be a “Donation Only” car wash. Based on our experience it is much easier to simply ask for a donation than to set a fee.
