Virtual Car Wash Letter
Join our “Virtual” Car wash team for “Jessica’s Car Wash for a Cure” (wash out leukemia)
If you are hosting a car wash but would also like to reach out to your other “web/online contacts” or if you are unable to host a car wash at your residence (or a relative or friend’s residence) you can also contribute to our cause by conducting a Virtual Car Wash. See the following letter that you can “cut and paste” as your own document. You then merely need to distribute this letter to your email contacts. Thanks.
NOTE – As indicated above even if you are running a car wash, you can still email this “Virtual Car Wash Letter” to your other friends and relatives both in-state and out-of-state who might be willing to make a donation. This is a simple way of raising those additional dollars for our cause!
Note:
- Although I have indicated $500.00 as a “minimum fundraising goal” you can of course set your own goal but it should probably be for at least $200.00.
- As long as we receive an email address we can make arrangements to have our committee email “acknowledgements” and “car wash certificates.”

I have joined the “Jessica’s Car Wash for a Cure” to raise money for the Leukemia Research Foundation. Our goal is to fund the research necessary to find a cure for leukemia and other blood related cancers. The majority of our “car wash teams” will be washing cars in various neighborhoods throughout locations in both the US and Canada. I personally will not be hosting a car wash but will be raising these needed dollars through my virtual car wash.
All you need to do to help me reach my goal of raising at least $500.00 is to either:
- Send me a check payable to the Leukemia Research Foundation or
- Go to our website www.jsmcure.org and click on “Virtual Carwash” – be sure to add my name in the “notes section” so everyone will know where you had your car washed!
Once I receive your donation or if done online, you will receive notification that your “car has been washed” (please provide your email address).
Your participation is vitally important. Please help make these efforts to wash out leukemia become a reality as we do our part to raise money for this research, education, family support, etc.
