I would have to say that the fact is that at 18 many kids are not ready to make adult decisions. If audlts think its ok for their kids and their friends to drink and party at their house then they need to at least make sure that they don’t let the kids mix alcohol and driving. Its not that complicated. All you have to do is be an active parent. You can’t just decide to be an active parent after the cops come, and clean up the beer cans. Come on, that’s terrible. And then these people had the nerve to say not guilty? Get real. Their lack of concern for what was going on in their house led to SENSELESS death. They should personally apologize to the community and to the families involved.

I think the problem with OS/2 1.0 was that a) Microsoft started working on it back in 1985, if not earlier, and b) they completely misjudged the importance of DOS. It may be that they really did intentionally make it somewhat hard to run DOS apps to “incentivize” folks to run OS/2 instead, but that backfired. Remember that Microsoft’s recommended solution was the Family API, which had its own issues…

Bon sang, relisez Churchill.

The_Ohioan We might have some if ACA is struck down completely. All those benefits that have already taken place under it will be taken away. That’s not nice – or smart.
